Pollarded Willows don't grow in a forest, they prefer a spot near the water and on edges of fields. That's why there are so many Pollarded Willows in my country: The Netherlands.. little Frogcountry :-)

I think this is the most beautiful WillowPhoto i have. It was a gift from Fionne.

Drawing from my son Sam.

A few famous Willows, a painting from Zweep Heijmen.

Ofcourse a Dutch painter paints Pollarded Willows :-) This is a Van Gogh.
